A little girl was turning 10 and her family was planning a surprise birthday with all of her friends at their house. So we had to plan decorate and get a real pony ready to go without our curious birthday girl having a clue that all this is happening. The party couldn’t have gone better. The birthday girl was caught completely unawares. We managed to pull of the biggest surprise party yet. There were horses everywhere and real pony rides on the beach.
The equestrian theme brought out in subtle shades of pink and green to keep it young and girly. Party printables were used to style the buffet table and children’s table. Horse cutouts and paper streamers looked beautiful on a breezy day on the beach.
The beautiful hand painted cake was the centerpiece of a very colourful buffet table. The kids were on a sugar high, but it’s not everyday that a little girl gets to celebrate her 10th birthday. So they made the most of it. All finger foods, desserts and drinks were accessorized with personalised food picks, food flags and labels. Milk bottles were customised with “Sara’s favourite chocolate” and “Sara’s favourite strawberry” bottle wraps.
