All orders placed with Prêt à Papier Design will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

TIMELINES AND SCHEDULES

Custom design can take anything from 3-4  weeks to complete depending on complexity of the design. Production can take between 2-3 weeks.

We will always try to accommodate tighter timescales if we can, but some schedules may incur a rush fee. Please mention your timescale at your initial enquiry. We urge you to book at least 2 months before your mailing date.

ESTIMATES & PAYMENTS­­

Upon approval of the estimate sent by Prêt à Papier Design, you will be sent and invoice and you can confirm your order with  a 50% deposit. This will be used to begin your design drafts and order any materials that need to be booked/purchased for your order. This deposit is therefore NON-REFUNDABLE.

Once final proofs have been agreed the remainder of the balance will be due before printing of your order.

All prices are quoted in and are to be paid in UAE Dirhams (AED) by bank transfer. VAT is not charged on any of our products presently. Bank details will be provided on the invoice sent by Prêt à Papier Design. Any delay to in the payment of the invoice will lead to the corresponding delay in the delivery date. Pret a Papier will not be held liable for any loses the client will face because of delays in payment.

SUPPLYING OF TEXT

You must supply the text for your stationery and are responsible for ensuring all the details, spelling and grammar are correct. Design cannot begin before you have supplied your required text. Production start date will be calculated from the date the artwork is received in the correct print ready format. 

All our custom design invoices include 2 rounds of revisions to your first design draft. You will have the opportunity to make changes in the agreed number of rounds during the design process.

It is essential that you confirm the order and spelling of any wording that is provided to us during the design process. Any wording must be provided exactly as you would like it to appear on your wedding stationery. We reserve the right to charge an additional discretionary design fee for the re-ordering or re-sizing of any text or words after the design process has completed, based on the quantity and complexity of the changes to be made.

PROOFS & ARTWORK

PDF Proofs and final artwork will be sent via email, unless specifically requested. Great care is taken to ensure all information is accurate, however it is ultimately the responsibility of the client to check layout, copy, spelling and grammar. If designs are approved with type errors and subsequently printed, Prêt à Papier Design takes no responsibility, and will not be liable for any resulting cost. If replacements are required then they will be charged for in full. 

Design and Proofing is timely and hence factored into our pricing. Two rounds of electronic proofs are included as part of the invoice and will be sent by email unless otherwise agreed. Hard copy proofs are available at an additional cost of [AED 50 per item][(flat digital printing only)]. Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from printed colour, each screen is calibrated differently and this is particularly noticeable on phones and tablets.

It is your responsibility to request printed proofs at a cost of [AED 50 per proof] if you wish to check how colours will appear in print. We will not accept responsibility for colours which you deem to be different in print to digital proofs.
If you change your mind after the two of the free proofs, there will be a charge of AED 50 per hour for any additional changes or proof revisions that you require.

It is therefore advisable to print off all PDF proofs and final artwork before giving your approval. This will help to ensure that the scale is correct, and that all fonts can be read at the correct size, and that you are happy with the colour. Please bear in mind that printers also vary and that your final stationery will be printed on the highest quality professional print press therefore the colours may differ slightly.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS OR RETURNS

Prêt à Papier Design wedding stationery products are made to order and therefore they cannot be returned.  If a product arrives which is damaged or faulty please contact us with proof within 5 days of receiving it and we will discuss how best to put the situation right. Defective pieces will need to be returned at the cost of the client.

The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your order during the design process and before the artwork has gone to print you will not be required to pay the second 50% due on the stationery. Once you have paid the second 50% the sale becomes final. All sales of personalised and semi-bespoke stationery are final except where a product is found to be damaged or faulty. If this is the case you must notify us with 5 days of the receipt of the products. See above for more details.

MINIMUM ORDERS

There is a minimum order of 25 pieces of digitally printed items. 

There is a minimum order of 100 pieces of Off-set printed items. 

There is a miminum order of 100 pieces for hot foil printing.

It is advisable to order all invitations and stationery at the same time to avoid any additional or minimum quantity special order fees.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY COSTS

Prêt à Papier Design cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions (or any other agreement between us) that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control. If such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you, our obligations will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event and we will arrange a new timeline and delivery date.

All content on the Website www.pretapapierdesign.com is our property or licensed to us and our collaborative partners, it is subject to copyright and other intellectual property laws.   Content included in the Website may be accessed by you for your own internal non-commercial use only. You may not copy, publish, modify, transfer, create works from, commercially exploit or otherwise use in whole or part any content, products or services obtained from the Website.  You may not delete or alter in any way any copyright, trade mark, intellectual property or other legal notices from any part of this Website.

Prêt à Papier Design reserves the right to use any stationery created for you to promote our products and services. However, we will never share any of your contact details with third parties.

These Terms and Conditions are between you and Prêt à Papier Design. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in relation to them) shall be governed by UAE law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
