Dubai always inspires me to think of something out of the ordinary, and make it as luxurious as possible. For this Eid, I wanted to create a range of printables that was different from the regular. So when a friend was looking for a set of gift boxes, I thought I would translate that inspiration into something traditional yet surprisingly modern. Just like Dubai!

She wanted the boxes to hold small gift items like jewellery, scarves and maybe Eid treats like stuffed dates and other confectionery that she wanted to gift to her family. I wanted to design something intricate yet modern enough for the younger recipients of the gifts.

So I came up with “The Arabesque Gifting Collection”. I drew my inspiration from the curves and intricacy of Islamic patterns, but in rich and modern colour schemes, that are a surprising fresh for Eid celebrations. The range is available in 2 colour scheme Garnet, with shades of red, gold and bronze and Amethyst which features deep purple, fuchsia and turquoise.
